When my grandchildren return to school, I’ll return to cooking for 2. It is not simple. I typically mis-judge the serving measurement and often have leftover meals. This week it was leftover rooster. Initially, I baked the rooster within the oven with a bread crumb and Parmesan cheese topping. What might I do with the remaining two rooster breasts?
I made a decision to make rooster salad. The crumb topping was simple to take away and I minimize up the rooster. However white rooster wants shade, so I added inexperienced celery, pink onion, dried cranberries, and inexperienced, unpeeled pears. Due to the onion, the salad had some “zing.” Due to the pears and dried cranberries, the salad had some sweetness.
Although I really like mayonnaise, I wished thinner dressing for the salad. Once I peered into the fridge, I discovered some slaw dressing and it proved to be good. Chances are you’ll make this salad with turkey as an alternative of rooster. If you haven’t any rooster on hand, cooked rooster strips can be found within the refrigerated part of the grocery retailer 서울 닭갈비 맛집.
Dried apricots or peaches, minimize into skinny strips, could also be substituted for the cranberries. Add some crackers or bread sticks and you’ve got a satisfying lunch. With heat bread and dessert, this crunchy salad turns into dinner.
